Enjoy your accomplishment and be open to feedback and constructive criticism in the days ahead so we can have the best, cleanest performance possible at the Area competition. We did many things well but, as we will discuss, there are many things we can and need to do better to reach our full potential. Be proud of what you've accomplished, but do not stop striving to better yourselves.
Relax, get some rest, and I'll see you in the band hall on Monday morning at 8:00.

REGARDING ELIGIBILITY
Ineligible students do not need to be present at evening rehearsals, and may not participate in performances (Games, Contests, etc) per UIL rules. 1st period band is a study hall for any student not eligible from now until the progress report comes out. Ineligible students are still responsible for music pass offs. Please contact me if you have any questions.

PASS OFFS
All pass off deadlines are posted throughout the band hall as they have been since July.
2nd 6 weeks:
* Closer, mm. 121 to 147 (memorized)
* Closer, mm. 148 to 172 (memorized)
* Closer, mm. 172 to the end (memorized)
Note: All Closer Pass Offs will fall under the 2nd Six Weeks in the gradebook.
If no attempt has been made by the due date, it will be entered as 0 in the gradebook and late work penalties will then apply. If an unsuccessful attempt was made, a 50 will be entered in the gradebook and students may complete the pass off at a later time for full credit (a 100).
If you suspect a 0 or 50 was entered into the gradebook in error, please speak to the director to whom you passed off. Please note that while we do our best to avoid errors in this regard, it does happen from time to time as we're listening to around 1,200 pass offs over the course of the season.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me.
